Your Greatest Self.

We do not always live fully the way we were meant to live. Lots of things can happen along our journey that cause us to abandon, or lose sight of our true self. The process of counseling is designed to reconnect us or perhaps discover for the first time the person we were designed to be. Sometime this process can be painful, as it involves chipping away the parts that are "not me"- the same way a sculptor has to cut away the parts of the block of stone that are not part of the vision he has for the final product. When Pope Julius II saw Michalangelo hammering away at a slab of marble and asked him why he was working so hard, Michalangelo reportedly replied "Can't you see there is an angel imprisoned in this block of stone? I'm working as hard as I can to set him free".
